Wow!

OK Today was another doggie adventure=-) Also as always a super duper mommy day it was.
Starts out great we had a great b-d breakfest with our 11 yr old girl. She actually got to go with daddy today to work. Cool for her!

Right after they left for work around 10ish my neighbor calls. This the good neighbor. Well she calls freaking out! Her female akita that has six week old puppies is sick. I did not realize just how sick but told her I would be their in a bit. Well 15min later she calls back still freaking out says I need to get there asap(like as in NOW!) So I go over there and the dog is up stumbling all around acting drunk so I knew she was bad off. Turns out the dog has a really bad mastitis infection. It was the worst I have ever seen. She took her to the vet which he did not seem to think it was all from the mastitis but after tons of blood work could not find anything else. I believe it was from the infection.

I also did tons of stuff today. The boys helped me do laundry and wash dishes. Crazy day! Again. Tomorrow we will be gone all day! It will be crazy to.

We can all give into our craziness atleast. The baby started pulling up on his knees today. FUN

VENTING!!!!!

Venting

Ok soooooo this is my first blog and all. I will more than likely just be rambling on here with stuff that will be perfectly useless to most who read it. To me though it is life to the max extreme!!!! SUPER DUPER MOMMY EXTREME!

I think I will just start with today march the 17th 2008. It is as good as any to start with and as always was a pretty ordinary super duper mommy day(what ever ordinary is around here).
Well let me just start with what today is:it is the day before my one and only daughter turns 11 yrs old. I am very excited yet have this haunting sadness that she is no longer a little child. Although she will still be a kid she is now a big kid and in just two years a teenage kid, aghhhhhhh!!!!!! CRAZY MAN! Oh and if we had not already realized this in two years that will be 13 yrs old for her we fully expect the magical event of aliens coming down to suck out her perfectly fine brain and replacing it with a perfectly unrealistic 13 yr old brain. This will happen sometime during the night of the first 24 hrs of her thirtenth year and will last until her 18th birthday in which the aliens will more than likely return her brain which they had been doing experments on for the past few years. Of course with proper training(and THE ALMIGHTY'S relentless grace) we fully expect a well rounded young adult by the end of all this with most large disasters avoided.

Ok back to my day. This morning I got up and saw my husband off to work(which rarely happens), but was nice. My mom brought my daughter home from a night with her which my daughter was all but flipping out with excitment over the indian costume and pretend make-up that was actually candy. She told me all about the movies she got to see with my mom and the breakfest she had ect. I missed her even though she had only been gone for 12hrs. I was also happy to see her so excited.I fried eggs for breakfest which the boys love. They had two each. Then it all began! The two oldest boys went out to take care of the animals like normal. Well my third son somehow managed to sneak outside like normal and proceeded to come in hollering about the neighbors dog that was having puppies. My daughter goes to check it out and comes in telling me that she also thought the dog was having puppies. I went to check it out and calm down all the craziness. Needless to say it was not puppies although the dog at some point had given birth and was not in a good condition. I will not go into all the detail, but it was bad. So now I am in between a rock and a hard place. The whole neighborhood had heard my kids making a fuss over the dog so if I called the pound to come get the dog and more than likely put it out of misery then these not so upstanding people will know who called and if I get some one else to call they will still guess it was me and that could prove bad news with these  kinda people. Well about this time here comes my friend who is also one of my neighbors with an unexpected guest. This just keeps getting better and better. Turns out my friend already knew about the dog. Finally we decided to go offer to help this neighbor get her hurting dog to the vet. She said no and will take this poor dog to the vet on Wednesday . Wednesday is two days away! AUGGGGGH makes me mad but for the safety of my family I felt my hands are tied, so frustrating!
Another frustrating point has been trying to find a place to have my daughters b-day party. She wants a ballet party. I want to give this to her because it will be the last year she will want a sweet little girl party=-( I am very sad on this point.

Well my good neighbor came back over and we had coffee. needless to say we got some school done today but between feeding the baby and changing diapers and consoling booboos we got little else done. I was very frustrated by the time my hubby got home. Which was way earlier than I expected(nice supprise though) Well we had a tasty dinner of pintos ,sweet potatoes ,and green peas. YUMMY! With the left over pintos I will make refried beans and we will have yummy tacos tomorrow night.
After dinner we(myself and the two oldest children)went to get stuff for the b-day girls special breakfest tomorrow morning. She wanted french toast and she is old enough now that she got to pick a special coffee. She choose swiss chocolate almond. To much like her mom that one is. We are going to use coconut milk and raw sugar to make that coffee even more yummy!

So yes just rambling of a crazy day with its blessings though. I have realized today my kids are way growing up fast. it is not slowing down no matter how I want to relish the moment so I am going to try to start living more by the example of my wonderful awesome friend amber and capture those moments when I can. If I could slow down long enough to do that I think it will change my life some. Those special moments with these kids we can never get back! I truly pray I will begin to cherish each and every one before it is in the rear view!
